How it works

Every pack is one real graded card out of Collector Crypt's vault. The price, the odds and the buyback rate on each pack are theirs and are read live, so what you see is what is true at that moment rather than what was true when this page was written.

You are given a code before you pay anything. It is thirty two characters and it is the only thing that proves the pack is yours. Save it somewhere before you go any further.

Collector.xmr keeps only a one way hash of it. That means nobody here can look your pack up, tell anybody what you bought, or hand it over if asked, because there is nothing to hand over. It also means that if you lose the code the pack is gone and we cannot help.

You send Monero to a deposit address and the pack opens when it arrives. The address belongs to a swap provider, not to us: they take your Monero and send us dollars.

That is deliberate. It means Collector.xmr never holds a Monero key in either direction, so there is no wallet here to seize and no ledger here to read. The swap provider sees a Monero payment, we see a dollar payment, and neither of us sees you.

It stays in Collector Crypt's vault, held against your claim code. Nothing expires and there is nothing to renew.

Sell the card back at Collector Crypt's published rate and give a Monero address at that moment. The address is used once, for that payout, and never kept.

Selling straight back returns less than the pack cost, on average and by design: a card buys back at a percentage of its insured value. Open a pack because you want the card.

You are. No account, no email, no wallet, no name, and nothing stored that could tie two of your orders together.

The card is not. It is a physical object in a real vault with a real certificate number, and Collector Crypt know exactly what it is and where it is. Anyone who tells you a graded card in a vault is untraceable is selling you something.
