Disclosures
The things worth saying out loud before you spend anything.
You will probably lose money on a pack
A pack’s expected card is worth a few per cent more than the pack costs, and a card sells back at 85 to 94 per cent of its insured value, so opening a pack and immediately selling the card returns less than you paid. Open one because you want the card.
This may count as gambling where you live
A pack is a random outcome bought with money. Whether that makes it gambling in your jurisdiction is a question about your law and not about our wording, and you should assume it might be.
Insured value is not market value
Every figure on this site is Collector Crypt’s own insured value for that card. It is their internal valuation, not a price anybody has paid, and it is not a quote.
The buyback is somebody else's offer
Collector Crypt fund and set the buyback and can change or withdraw it. If they do, a card can still be sold elsewhere but not at a guaranteed price, and Collector.xmr cannot make up the difference.
Third parties can fail
Payment in and payout both run through a swap provider who can delay, freeze or refuse a transaction at their discretion. There is no service level and no contractual route back through us.
